As a partner in the global education network Teach For All, Teach For Vietnam builds a pipeline of future  leaders by recruiting and developing young talents from diverse backgrounds to establish a sustainable eco-  system for excellent education for all children in Vietnam.

My whole life is a blessing. I had the opportunity to study with many inspiring teachers.  Born into a middle-low income family in the centre of Vietnam, with effort, I received international merit fellowship to finish my master degree from Harvard University in 2015. With a strong sense of enlightenment, inspiration, and compassion, I really want to contribute my energy for a better Vietnam, via education. Even more than that, I have a dream to channel talents from all backgrounds to orient their hands, heart and head toward creating strong pipeline of future leaders in general education. In Vietnam, general education, albeit providing high return on investment, currently receives much less effort from the community and the public than higher education sector.

In early October 2015, I came across Teach For All, getting aware of the movement of 40 countries in the world to bring equal opportunity to excellent education for all children, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds, via a very innovative approach. So I quit my high-paid job, and approached Teach For All, with a strong intention to establish Teach For Vietnam.

Teach For All and Teach For Vietnam have been working closely together since October 2015 as the TFV team works to design and launch a local adaptation of the Teach For All approach in Vietnam.

The journey of thousand miles begins with one step.

Recruit and develop young leaders from diverse backgrounds to build an ecosystem supporting education.

We believe in the extraordinary potential of all children and in our collective potential to realize our aspirations, and so we act with courage, boldness, urgency and perseverance in pursuit of transformational impact.

We commit to continuous education, reflection and improvement as the foundation for the transformational leadership we strive to develop

We value the enormous assets in the communities where we work, immerse ourselves in local perspectives, needs and opportunities, and work in deep partnership with students, families, educators, and community members — all while also seeking to build our understanding of what is possible based on insights from outside of our communities and countries

We seek to ensure full participation of people from all cultures and backgrounds, and we believe those who have themselves experienced the inequities we’re working  to address should guide and lead this work.

In recognition of our shared humanity and interconnectedness, we work with generosity and compassion to help each other develop and grow.
